The Nile Basin Discourse Forum in Rwanda is inviting sponsors to support the 2015 Community-Based Climate Change Adaptation (CBCCA) conference and exhibition.
The conference is organized by Nile Basin Discourse Forum (NBDF) Rwanda based on a jointly implemented project with Rwanda Environment Conservation Organization (RECOR); it is the first of its kind in Rwanda looking at sharing innovations, tools and policies that promote resilience of grassroots.
Aspire to bring together different stakeholders and practitioners to a common ground to share and discuss knowledge of CBA, planning and best practice and shape ways to enhance the capacity of the most vulnerable groups and people, improve their livelihoods and integrate lessons learnt into local, national and international planning for development and climate change. Share lessons learnt and innovations exhibited at the conference. It also sets the premier interdisciplinary forum for climate change and development entities, researchers/academia, practitioners and educators. And Share the WWVIEWS Results of the National Citizen Consultation that was held on 6th June 2015. The convener, Nile Basin Discourse Forum (NBDF) Rwanda will share the implementation of Community Based Climate Change Adaptation (CBCCA) piloted in communities of four districts (Bugesera, Gatsibo, Kirehe and Nyagatare) in the Eastern Province Rwanda.
All honorable practitioners and authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their ideals research abstracts, papers and e-posters. Also, high quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Climate Change are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts, papers and e-posters that address themes and topics of the conference, including exhibition of technologies, tables and references of community based adaptation projects.
Sponsorship
Your organization is invited to become a sponsor or an exhibitor in the Conference. Corporate support is typically used to permit a greater number of academia, students, policy makers and community members to attend and to help convener’s document lessons and best practices to influence policies. Volunteers will receive complimentary registration. Exhibits by sponsors also help inform development practitioners, researchers and policy targets.
The conference has four sponsorship levels: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze.
Your support is very important to the conference, and the conference committee ensures that these contributions are well recognized and managed. We list the benefits and costs below.
PLATINUM
(US$ 2,500 or greater contribution)
• You will get 4 free registrations to the main conference and tutorials and workshops, 4 banquet tickets, 3 exhibition tables.
• Your organization will get choice at managing or naming an event at the conference. For example, there are workshops where your organization is can be a partner and can organize sessions to share its work.
• Your organization or institution (with logo and URL) will be listed in all conference announcements, on the advance program, and on the conference web pages, and conference’s materials including invitations and banners.
• We will specially acknowledge your organization contribution and offer thanks at the opening and closing sessions of the conference
• You will have the opportunity to include material and giveaways with the conference material
• You will get early notification direct from the Corporate Support Chair of conference news
• You will get financial and technical accountability reports.
GOLD SPONSORSHIP
(US$ 1,500 or greater contribution)
• You will get 3 free registrations to the main conference or tutorials and workshops, 3 banquet tickets, 2 exhibition tables.
• You will also get third choice at naming events at the conference (after the Platinum). For example, there are generally two receptions, several lunches and coffee breaks, plus a a stakeholder reception. Naming of events will be decided based on the amount of the contribution and the order received
• Your organization (with logo and URL) will be listed in all conference announcements, on the advance program, and on the conference web pages.
• We will acknowledge your company’s contribution and offer thanks at the opening and closing sessions of the conference
• You will have the opportunity to include material and giveaways with the conference material for each attendee
